Your first steps as a video maker
The Video Production intensive course is ideal for those who search a practical experience in the world of video making. The student will have the opportunity to work with professional equipment, acquiring the basic topics of the video making process and of the most widely used digital editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro.
During the course the student will produce an original clip. He will film indoor and outdoor, free-hand and on tripod, manage audio sources and lights. The student will then move on to video editing; setting the project; choosing the appropriate music; selecting the shots, assembling the shots with the right rhythm, in order to export a complete video.
Aims and objectives
During the course will be introduced:
• The basic tools of video making.
• The basics of computer software for editing.
• Shooting videos in practice.
At the end of this course Video Making will be no more a mysterious world, and you will be able to distinguish its areas and possibilities. You will get both the basic skills needed to take a longer courses or to develop very simple video podcasts for personal use.
Prerequisites and requirements
The course is a beginner level, so a previous knowledge of graphic design is not required. Students should own gears and materials as listed at the page Student Guide/Materials for the course.
