Application Terms

The following rules apply to all courses offered through this website, unless a specific paragraph for a specific course/workshop/experience has been added below.

General terms for all courses

Opening: application is considered open when course starting date appears on the site.

Application: it must be done through the appropriate “apply to this course” form on the page of the chosen course.

Deadlines: every course has a different deadline, set to several days prior the course beginning; it’s stated in the tab “In Short” in every course page. Please keep it at mind if you want to apply. Just do it before the course application closes. Course starts only if the application forms have been received.

Cancellation: if a participant decides to cancel for whatever reason, please follow this schedule:
– if the cancellation arrives at least 1 week before the beginning of the course/workshop/experience, we will reimburse the entire fee, except for the Paypal commissions.
– if the cancellation arrives at least on the day before the beginning of the course/workshop/experience, we are sorry but we cannot reimburse the fee, because any person involved in the organization of this event has been already paid.


Berlin Experience special terms

In the case we need to move the planned workshop to different dates/locations because of arising problems, such as weather or unavailability of assets, and/or cancellation because any unforeseen activity that is out of our control, then you are eligible for reimbursement of course fees.

What’s included: the workshop fee does not include travel expenses and personal travel insurance, meals, accommodation, film, city bus/metro/train tickets, entry tickets to any Berlin event/location. Fee does include teaching/mentoring, darkroom use, photo paper, chemicals.

Deadline: deadline is set to several days prior the course beginning; it’s stated in the tab “In Short” in the course page; the course starts only if the application forms have been received.

Cancellation: if a participant decides to cancel for whatever reason, please follow this schedule:
– if the cancellation arrives at least 3 weeks before the beginning of the workshop, we will reimburse the entire fee, except for the Paypal commissions.
– if the cancellation arrives at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the workshop, we will reimburse half the fee, except for the Paypal commissions.
– if the cancellation arrives 1 week before the beginning of the workshop, we are sorry but we cannot reimburse the fee, because any person involved in the organization of this workshop has been already paid.

We do reserve the right to cancel the workshop in case less than 3 participants have applied in the workshop at least 2 weeks prior beginning. In this case participants will receive a full refund, except for the Paypal commissions.
