This is a darkroom photography workshop for to learn how to develop a roll of black and white film in total autonomy at home and how to print negatives with the enlarger.
You will learn how to develop a roll of film in your home’s toilettes with little effort and great satisfaction. During the experience you will see what’s needed, what are the gears you must have and what you can avoid. You will also learn how to use chemicals in a safe way and how to dispose them at the end.
Black and white analog photography is back. Today we have a choice of materials available to purchase which is much larger than the one in the recent past. Nevertheless many believe it’s hard to carry out for the large amount of equipment needed. That’s not true. With this experience we want to highlight how easy is to carry out a film development by one’s house with a very limited amount of gears and chemicals.
At the end of the day you will be able to reproduce the development procedure at home. You will have a negative to bring back with you, ready for a scan or for a further next session of film enlargement in darkroom.
